These Terms of Service explain the rules for using CTradeBoard. By using the marketplace, you agree to follow these terms and the platform policies linked from them.
CTradeBoard is a marketplace for collectors. Users are responsible for the listings they publish, the messages they send, and the transactions they choose to enter into with other users.
Marketplace role
CTradeBoard provides tools to discover listings, publish listings, create wanted lists, message other users, and build marketplace trust signals. Unless a specific feature says otherwise, CTradeBoard is not the buyer, seller, owner, manufacturer, appraiser, payment processor, or delivery provider for user-listed items.
We may review, rank, hide, remove, label, or restrict content and accounts to protect users, comply with law, improve discovery, or enforce platform rules.
Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your account secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account, including listings, messages, offers, and profile information.
- You must not create accounts to evade enforcement, impersonate others, scrape the service, or interfere with platform security.
- If you use CTradeBoard for business or professional selling, you are responsible for any trader, tax, consumer, and product-information duties that apply to you.
Listings and seller responsibilities
Listings must be accurate, lawful, and created in good faith. Sellers should describe the item, condition, language, photos, price, availability, shipping or pickup expectations, and any material defects clearly.
You must not list counterfeit, stolen, unsafe, illegal, misleading, infringing, or otherwise prohibited items. You are responsible for having the right to sell or trade the item you list.
Buying, selling, and consumer rights
Users decide whether to buy, sell, trade, ship, meet, or complete a transaction. You should check item details, seller information, payment method, delivery terms, and applicable consumer rights before committing.
Consumer rights can differ depending on whether the seller is a business/trader or a private individual. Professional sellers must comply with the consumer, e-commerce, distance-selling, tax, and product-information rules that apply to them.
Paid or promoted features
CTradeBoard may offer paid features such as promoted visibility, seller tools, or other marketplace services. Any paid feature should explain the price, duration, renewal behavior if any, and what the feature does before purchase.
Promoted or featured listings do not guarantee a sale. Search terms, filters, item relevance, listing quality, availability, and marketplace rules may still affect where a listing appears.
Messages, disputes, and safety
- Do not harass, spam, threaten, deceive, or pressure other users.
- Do not ask users to bypass platform safety controls where those controls exist.
- Keep transaction records and use payment or delivery methods you trust.
- Report suspicious listings, counterfeit concerns, unsafe behavior, or account misuse through support channels.
Moderation and platform integrity
We may use automated and manual signals to detect abuse, duplicated activity, suspicious behavior, policy violations, and marketplace manipulation. We may remove content, limit visibility, suspend accounts, or preserve records when needed.
When legally required, we will provide transparency about restrictions, ranking, ads, or recommender systems in the relevant product surfaces or support pages.
Intellectual property
You keep ownership of content you upload, but you grant CTradeBoard the rights needed to host, display, resize, moderate, distribute, and promote that content as part of operating the marketplace.
Do not upload content that infringes someone else's rights, including copyrighted photos, copied descriptions, trademarks used misleadingly, or counterfeit-item imagery.
Changes, suspension, and termination
We may update these terms as the marketplace evolves. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to make them visible.
We may suspend or terminate access when needed to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse, or enforce these terms.
